Our rooms
Hotel Arenal Lodge offers 50 comfortable rooms, a restaurant, a gift
shop, 3 heated jacuzzis, a swimming pool, walking trails, a butterfly
garden, a game-room for children, an outdoor playground area, a fitness
room, a steam bath, laundry service and free internet access.
Our affordable hotel rooms are divided into 6
Standards Rooms, 11 Superior Rooms, 17 Junior Suites, 4 Family Suites,
10 Chalets, 1 Master Suite and 1 Matrimonial Suite.
Besides of all the basic amenities, such as cable
TV, telephone, hair dryer, etc, we also have a mini refrigerator,
microwave oven, extra bed, crib and wheel chair available for you upon
request. Our restaurant also offers room service. Arenal Lodge
specializes in making our guests feel as comfortable as possible at our
rainforest inn.
The standard room
The standard rooms are equipped with one comfortable queen-sized
bed and one single bed, private bathroom with hot water, coffee maker,
cable TV, telephone, alarm clock, digital safe and hair dryer.
These economic rooms are located near the lobby and
although they have no view of the Arenal Volcano they provide easy
access to the lobby and restaurant, making them a favorite choice among
people who like to socialize and enjoy all the amenities available in
the main building of the hotel such as the gym, sauna, game room, and
fireplaces.
Superior
These spacious hotel rooms offer an excellent panoramic view of
Arenal Volcano right from your bed. Built a couple of years ago, some
rooms have connecting doors for you to enjoy the company of your family
and friends. All of the superior rooms are equipped with a private
bathroom with hot water, coffee maker, cable TV, telephone, alarm
clock, digital safe and hair dryer.
There are a few rooms designed to provide easy access to people with limited mobility.
junior Suite
Enjoy the best view of the Arenal Volcano, the rainforest, birds
and howler monkeys from the privacy of your junior suite’s balcony.
This type of suite is equipped with two comfortable
queen-sized beds, private bathroom with hot water, coffee maker, cable
TV, telephone, alarm clock, digital safe and hair dryer. Microwave oven
and mini refrigerator are available for free upon request. Most suites
have air-conditioning although our mountain climate is quite pleasant
during the night all year around.
Family Suite
These suites are modern-style apartments with connecting doors. All
the suites are equipped with microwave oven, coffee maker,
refrigerator, cable TV, telephone, alarm clock, digital safe and hair
dryer. You can also request for a room with air-conditioning although
the climate is mostly pleasant at night.
The family suites offer two rooms and a sitting
room, housing up to six people. They are the best choice for guests
with kids or teenagers who want to explore the area around the hotel as
they are near the butterfly garden on the way to the trail that goes
through the jungle.
Chalets
These large renovated rooms, built in separate chalets perched on
top of the hill behind the main building of the hotel, offer an
incredible panoramic view of the Arenal Volcano and the lake.
Each room has one king-sized bed and one
queen-sized bed from where you can observe the volcano without even
having to stand up. Near the ceiling-to-floor windows you have a single
sofa bed with a recliner or rocking chair. All the rooms are equipped
with a mini-kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee
maker, ceiling fans, cable TV, telephone, alarm clock, digital safe and
hair dryer.
Master Suite
The master suite offers the most spacious setting with two
queen-sized beds and a sitting room surrounded by glass windows. This
suite boasts a large, private balcony with a great view of the Arenal
Volcano.
The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave oven,
refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, telephone, alarm clock, digital
safe and hair dryer. The bathroom includes a bath tub and shower.
Privacy and space, plus a unique view of the Arenal Volcano make this

Matrimonial Suite
The Matrimonial suite has a sitting room, and kitchenette equipped
with a microwave oven, small refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV,
telephone, alarm clock, digital safe, hair dryer and air conditioning.
The bathroom has a jacuzzi and a shower.
The decoration is simple, yet tasteful, with wood
walls and wood ceilings that offer a cozy feel for honeymooners or
people who want to have an unforgettable time watching the Arenal
