The Springs Resort and Spa is perched upon a mountain ridge overlooking the Arenal river valley and the majestic Arenal Volcano. Located at higher ground than all the other nearby hotels, surrounded by exquisite tropical gardens and cascading waterfalls the Springs Resort and Spa embraces the natural beauty of the tropics yet offers the most luxurious of experiences in the Arenal Volcano Area. The entrance of The Springs is located about 9 km from La Fortuna downtown and from that turn off it is an additional 6 km through tropical rainforest ascending to the hotel reception.
The construction and design of the Springs Hotel is very impressive with the entire main building set aside for guest services including, 4 restaurants, full service spa, fitness center, sitting areas and hot and cold springs. All of the wood used in the construction of the hotel and rooms is from tree farms and was dried and hand crafted on site at the hotel.
The rooms and villas are located below the main building and every room has a volcano view. The Springs Resort and Spa offers an array of on site facilities however the variety of Hot Springs is unique to the Springs Resort and Spa. With 3 separate hot spring areas Las Lagunas pools, Los Perdidos Springs (The Lost Springs), and the soon to be completed Hot and Cold Springs along the Arenal River. Villa Guayaba: 2 bedrooms with King beds, 2 bathrooms. Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, full kitchen, heated pool, sun deck, hammocks, outdoor dining area.
Villa Calatea: 2 bedrooms with King beds, 2 bathrooms with Jacuzzi in both bathrooms. Out door shower, 2 private terraces, heated pool, living room, full kitchen, volcano view
Villa Trianda: A master suite with indoor/outdoor shower, outdoor jacuzzi, sun deck, hammocks, living room with couch beds, dining area, kitchen, heated pool.

The Alta Vista Guest Room is similar in design and layout to the Vista Guest Room but has 18’ vaulted ceilings and because of its location on the second floor has a sweeping view of not only the volcano but the valley below. Family Suite Guest Room
The Family Guest Suite has the same layout and design as the Vista Guest Room on the first level but has a mezzanine bedroom above with its own private bath. The Master Bathroom has a Jacuzzi Tub. There is a King Size Bed on the lower master level and one King Size Bed or two Single beds on the Mezzanine Level. Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for additional children. Villa Guayaba
Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for children. The Villa Guayaba boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a Jacuzzi Tub in the Master bath, full kitchen, heated plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets and cascades, sun deck, hammocks and outdoor dining area. Villa Calatea
Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for children. The Villa Calatea is a one of a kind Villa with two bedrooms, two and one half bathrooms. Both the Master and Guest Bath have Jacuzzi Tubs. In addition, the Guest Room has an outdoor shower on its private terrace. The Master and Guest Suite share a living room and kitchen with a large refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. The Villa has separate entrances, heated plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets and cascades, sun deck, hammocks, an outdoor dining area and, of course, an incredible view of the Arenal Volcano. With picture perfect views of the Arenal Volcano, the Two Oversized Master Suites and Three Luxurious Bathrooms allow for an incredible vacation experience. The lavish villa can either be rented in its entirety or divided into two separate but equally as impressive Guest Suites.
The combination of the Villa Trianda & Palm Bungalow Connected accommodates four guests with the possibility to use two built-in couch/beds in the living room plus the extra full bath off the living room for children. For those guests who want to get away from it all but still enjoy all the luxuries and appointments one expects from a five star resort, this Two Bedroom, Three Bathroom Villa will not disappoint. A full kitchen, spacious living area, separate entrances, heated plunge pool with jacuzzi jets and cascades, a separate outdoor jacuzzi with cascades, multiple sun decks, hammocks, day bed and outdoor dining area are just the beginning.
