We pride ourselves on teaching our guests the fine art of "doing nothing" and leaving everything to us! Lazing in the shade of a swaying palm or relaxing on the veranda as chattering monkeys prance through the treetops are just some of the "do nothing" activities. A few steps brings our guests to a sparkling beach, perfect for spending the afternoon warming in the tropical sun and listening to the whisper of the surf. With a constant water temperature of 80 degrees, the nearby Pacific is ideal for a relaxing swim or just drifting lazily.
For the more adventurous, Tambor Tropical offers the chance to "do it all" with a wide range of recreational choices. Fishing for record-breaking marlin or sailfish, snorkeling in tropical waters, lobster diving, nature walking in wildlife preserves, horseback riding along meandering jungle trails, estuary boat trips, exclusive island visits, magnificent waterfalls, quaint local villages - these are just a few of the unforgettable activities available to the free spirited visitor. |

Jesus Tree: Riding along the beach (or jungle trail parallel to the beach), passing through several secluded beaches, and then upon arrival, see a tree fed by underground freshwater. |

Montezuma Waterfall: Tour Montezuma and its famous four level waterfall. Take a 25-minute hike, enjoy a bath in the natural pool at the bottom of the waterfall, or enjoy the 60's ambiance of the village. Souvenirs and crafts available. Canopy Mal Pais: The exciting canopy ride is nearly one kilometer and has seven platforms set high in the trees (between five and twenty meters) connected by cables. Professional guides accompany you. Afternoon tours may include sunset views. |
